The Lower half of the gaiter has a 1000D Nylon Oxford overlay for extra durability in rough rocky alpine environments.

Do note that the Expedition gaiter fabric has no stretch so if you are in-between two sizes we recommend choosing the bigger size Long Gaiters To best determine what size Long Gaiter you are measure the widest part of your calf overtop of your hunting trousers. Then match that circumference to the size chart. Do note that the long gaiter fabric has no stretch so if you are in-between two sizes we recommend choosing the bigger size Short Gaiters To best determine what size Short Gaiter you are measure the widest part of your calf overtop of your hunting trousers. Then match that circumference to the size chart. Do note the short gaiters do not reach the widest part or the calf, but it is still the same method to know what size you will be in our shorter gaiters
